About the Exhibition

We can now confirm the new developments and attractions for the 2014 exhibition.

New clubs taking part include the National Traction Engine Trust who will be attending for the first time.

The Velocipede Group will also be attending for the first time with their 110 year old Velocipide.

There are also a number of special displays taking shape including the 80th Anniversary of the Flying Scotsman and also the 120th Anniversary of the Manchester Ship Canal.

The newly extended venue which has been increased in size by 15% will still be linked to a temporary structure due to massive demand from clubs and trade to be at the show.

Outside the halls the Fosse Way Steamers will be in action along with the Coventry Society of Model Engineers and the Polly Owners Group on the popular 5" gauge track.

As always there will be workshop activities and a full lecturer programme with lots of new demonstrators and lecturers present this year.

The Coventry Model Engineering Society will again be supporting the workshop activities and members can be seen demonstrating everyday skills for modelling. They will also be working on a kit of the Pioneer provided by L A Services. Our thanks to Chester UK Ltd for sponsoring the workshop activities.

CuP Alloys (Metal Joining Ltd) and Western Steam Ltd On Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 2pm and 4pm by the main entrance Keith Hale and Helen Verall-Stait will be presenting a series of boiler brazing demonstrations building on from the theory lectures that Keith will also be presenting on those days in the lecture theatre.
