22nd May 2020 Update
We are looking forward to welcoming our exhibitors and visitors to our International Model Boat Show and are working behind the scenes to achieve this.
Our number one priority during this period, is to ensure we protect the health and well-being of our visitors and exhibitors, and we will continue to closely follow government guidance and recommendations with regards to Covid-19.
This is a rapidly changing environment, and we will be reviewing the status and ability to deliver this event in mid September.
We will only run the show if government guidelines enable us to and will at all times work to their guidelines and instructions. We will not take any risks with the safety of our exhibitors, visitors and team.
Thank you for your continued understanding during this difficult time.
The Meridienne Team
Now in its 23rd year the International Model Boat Show is regarded as one of the leading model marine exhibitions in the country.
Visiting this exhibition is an experience not to be missed. With over 30 clubs showcasing their excellent modelling skills from early warships to cruise liners and modern power boats. They are more than happy to help you get started with your next project and offer you guidance on the best way to do this, or simply chat you about their experiences with model boat making. If you are starting a new project or just finishing one you have already started there will be specialist suppliers who will have those parts you need!
The boat pool allows the club members both novice and experienced to showcase their boats at their best on water. On the boat pool there will be the Children’s hour, this will give the opportunity for children to drive one of the boats on the water themselves.
The Tamiya Truckin arena will also be at this year’s show, providing some great live action of their 1/14 and 1/16 scale radio control model vehicles. The arena will be over 80 metres square so there will be plenty to see.
Advance tickets are available from the 1st April 2020.
Please note there are no cash machine facilities at the venue in 2020.
